Troubleshooting

Find the visible problem and work through the checks in order.

I cannot sign in or the invitation is invalid

Section titled “I cannot sign in or the invitation is invalid”
  1. Sign in with the same email address to which the invitation was sent.
  2. Open the latest invitation link; an invitation that was already answered or has expired is no longer valid.
  3. Try signing in again with Sign in with Google or Sign in with Microsoft.
  4. For account, invitation, or access problems, ask your school’s Stundenwerk administrator to check your email address and send a new invitation if needed.

See Collaborate as a team.

  1. Make sure the file is saved as .xlsx.
  2. Remove the header row; every row is read as a data record.
  3. Check column A for unique aliases made of letters, numbers, and hyphens, and column B for names.
  4. Remove empty rows and test a copy with only one data row.

See Import master data from Excel.

  1. Open Lessons and check Total.
  2. Count the placed occurrences. When the full total is placed, the lesson disappears from the pool.
  3. Check that you opened the correct timetable and project.
  4. Increase the total only if another occurrence is genuinely required.

See Prepare timetables and lessons and Schedule lessons.

A teacher or room is missing from a card or export

Section titled “A teacher or room is missing from a card or export”
  1. Under Lessons, open the affected row and check the resource assignment.
  2. Select the specific placement and check whether the resource was removed only there.
  3. In the placement dialog, check whether the resource is hidden.
  4. For a control export, use Advanced export → Show hidden teachers/rooms.

See Adjust resources for one occurrence and Export.

  1. Open the conflict card and check every listed class.
  2. Make sure the affected resource is no longer assigned to two placements at the same time.
  3. Wait for Saved after changes and reopen Conflicts.
  4. Remember: Approve confirms the overlap but does not resolve it.

See Review and resolve conflicts.

  1. Wait for Saved after every movement.
  2. For Failed to save, reload the page and check the source and target cells.
  3. Repeat only the movement that was not applied and wait again.
  4. Do not switch timetables while Saving… is displayed.

See Schedule lessons in the timetable.

  1. Wait until Export downloaded or The export could not be created appears.
  2. Allow downloads for Stundenwerk and check the download folder.
  3. Select the rows again and restart the export.
  4. Test one timetable first to narrow the problem to multiple selection or ZIP creation.

See Export timetables and resources.

I cannot find a project after leaving an organization

Section titled “I cannot find a project after leaving an organization”
  1. Open the project overview and check that you are working in the expected organization.
  2. Projects stay with their organization; after Leave organization, you no longer have access to them.
  3. Ask your school’s Stundenwerk administrator to invite you to the correct organization again.

See Collaborate as a team and Create, switch, and clone projects.
