Organization
Section titled “Organization”A school’s shared area. An organization contains members and projects. The roles are Owner, Admin, and Member.
Project
Section titled “Project”A distinct scheduling state, usually for a school year or semester. Subjects, resources, timetables, lessons, and placements each belong to a project.
Timetable
Section titled “Timetable”The weekly schedule that usually represents a class. It has an alias, a name, lesson slots, and lessons.
Subject
Section titled “Subject”The teaching subject of a lesson, such as Mathematics with the alias MAT.
Teacher
Section titled “Teacher”A person assigned to a lesson. In Stundenwerk, teachers are one type of resource.
A location assigned to a lesson. Rooms are also resources.
Resource
Section titled “Resource”The collective term for teachers and rooms. Resources can be assigned to lessons and individual placements.
A short, unique code such as MAT, AB, or R101. Only letters, numbers, and hyphens are allowed.
Lesson
Section titled “Lesson”A teaching requirement in a timetable: a subject with a total count and, optionally, assigned teachers and rooms.
Count or total
Section titled “Count or total”The number of lesson occurrences that can be scheduled. With a total of 4, you can place four occurrences in the grid.
Placement
Section titled “Placement”One lesson occurrence in a specific cell of the weekly grid. Its resources can differ from the other occurrences.
Lesson pool
Section titled “Lesson pool”The area beside the grid containing occurrences that have not yet been placed. The count shows the number remaining.
Lesson slot
Section titled “Lesson slot”A timetable row, such as 08:00–08:45 or Period 1. Project settings determine its label and order.
Class teacher
Section titled “Class teacher”A teacher assigned to a class timetable in its settings. This assignment is separate from teachers assigned to individual lessons.
Conflict
Section titled “Conflict”A simultaneous assignment of the same teacher or room to multiple lessons in the project.
Approved conflict
Section titled “Approved conflict”A reviewed overlap that was intentionally accepted. Approval does not move a lesson or remove a resource.
Hidden resource
Section titled “Hidden resource”A teacher or room that remains assigned to a placement but does not appear in exports by default.
Overview export
Section titled “Overview export”A single PDF that combines multiple selected timetables or resources in an overview. In contrast, a separate multiple export contains individual PDFs in a ZIP file.
